How we made it up
The idea of having our own BDSM dungeon always appeals to us. Sadly, we are currently at a quite small apartment when it cannot be done that easily. But we didn’t want to give up those thoughts. So we thought about how we could do it. After checking Etsy, Pinterest, and so on, we got an idea of the piece of furniture that would provide us 90% of the dungeon equipment we always wanted. So we started to sketch, and after a while, our dreamed design was ready.

How to do it
Do you like it? Great! Want to know how to do it? Perfect! Let’s roll up our sleeves, and let’s do it.
What you will need:
- 1600 cm of wood beams (we used 55x55mm thick)
- wood shelf 45×80 cm
- 20 L-shaped stirrups
- 8 regular stirrups
- 4 hooks
- 2m square of leatherette
- 3m square of foam (1 cm thick)
- Dozens of screws
- Dozens of nails with thick heads
Tools needed:
- saw
- hammer
- cordless screwdriver
- meter
- scissors
And now, let’s do it. First of all, measure all the beams and cut them for required lengths. After that, start to connect each other from the bottom of the furniture with the stirrups. When you have the whole construction done, continue with upholstery on the shelf (here is nicely explained how to do it). For better comfort, do upholstery below the leg parts.

Why we love it
First of all, it was and still is amazing fun. Secondly, a similar piece of furniture would cost us at least 1000 USD. We achieve to do it for 238 USD.
